Default Help with website construction

Ok, so I'm creating a website but i dont really know how to do some things. Here's a list of things i need help with:

1. Making my website send people password reset emails when asked for
2. When people sign up, how do i make my website make them members
3. How to make my website let people sign in
4. How do i make my click boxes work
5. Basically, i need to know how to make my website automatically do things.

Guys, i'm in a rush and i really need help with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It really sounds like you need a Content Management System (CMS) - have you looked at Wordpress or Joomla?

Given your list, then coding yourself in a rush is asking for a security hole. Take a look at Joomla, it should do all you need.

Depends on what would you like to do, if it's just a blog, use Wordpress.
If it's something more, then yes, Joomla or Drupal.
If it's a shop: use Magento.
If it's something different or it needs some decent level of customization/branding or you don't want to risk getting stuck on your first project with a CMS, hire a web developer (feel free to contact me, btw).

Best of luck
