Just a follow up on this - it seems that credit card info WAS compromised.
Not the main inet billing system but rather an old system that was "end of life" and due to be replaced, it still held a lot of card info and WHT are contacting the people involved and also the card companies... |

The hacker must have hated the website to perform such sophisticated attacks. I mean, attempting to delete all of the backups - on site and off site, is just cruel. The hacker wanted to completely destroy the website. Imagine all the hatred involved in his/her actions...
