The term is not necessarily a scam, but there are plenty of scm companies on the net that use this term to fool people.
It is definitely possible to make money online n a legit fashion. You just have to research the opportunities that suit you. Take 15-20 words from the article (avoiding the spelling mistakes and bad grammar) then search for them in "". "" means 'exact match'. It's a good way to check for dupe content. When checking a page to see if it's a rip off / been ripped off, try something from the start the middle and the end. Rip off artists often rewrite the first paragraph so checking in a few places gives you a better idea. Just tried again with the opening phrase and found 1600 matches.

CopyScape is good but I believe you can block it. Don't know if that's because its bot uses an identifiable User Agent (so you can feck it off in robots.txt) or if people block it by IP.
Spammers want Google traffic so they won't block Google. |
