how to set online payment system..

hi,
I am new to this field..but can u help me in how to set an online payment system on my my personnel website.
I have been told that it can be done by penning an account any open countries and start from there.
can u help me on this issue?

I'm not sure I understand you. Do you mean a PERSONNEL site or a PERSONAL site?

In all honesty, sounds like you need to hire a designer or developer to hand hold you through the process, as you don't currently appear particularly net savvy, so the better the one on one attention you can get, the better for you.

You need a merchant payment system/merchant account. You should be able to get this from your bank. That'll let you accept credit cards online.

Like someone else said, PayPal is the best way to go. It's much more easier, faster and more cheaper than a merchant account. A merchant account should be opened when you expand your business or website.

Unless you belong to the Federation of Small Businesses and they will help you open a Streamline Gate way and payment site free of charge and reasonable costs per transaction but you would probably need someone to set it up for you.

It's really easy to set up PayPal though. You might be able to find instructions on how to do so on YouTube. There isn't much to it.
