Default Introducing Cloud Hosting Technology

At the end of this month I plan to launch what could be the ultimate in business hosting - with 100% uptime (and a 100% uptime SLA - not a 99% SLA).

It will probably be slightly more expensive than traditional shared hosting solutions because it utilises "cloud hosting" technology...

What is cloud hosting?

Well - Imagine if you will... A datacenter full of high end web servers all connected together and load balanced, this is in essence "the cloud" - it's quite a bit more than a few load balanced servers linked together, as all the servers pull together to produce what can only be described as one huge server - processing power, hard drives and memory are all shared via a complex network of load balancers.

But it's a lot more than just that - it's totally scalable... For some time now I have noticed a slow down of web site's accross the net - this is down to modern scripts (CMS's, Forums etc) that are taxing current hosting solutions - everyone want's monster hosting for a £1 these days!
With Cloud Hosting the resources are not limited to the free resources of the hosting server - they are scalable so that your website can call on the resources of "the cloud".

Operating System can be set up per website - so you have multiple websites running a mix of Linux and Windows Server and you can also run Linux (php) and Windows (asp) scripts on the same website, from the same folder at the same time!

Recent stress test's have shown that websites on "the cloud" can handle 0 to 100,000 concurrent connections without loss of service.

Basically I am going to be offering 5 per-launch packages on the new system for a discount, if there is enough interest in this new hosting solution then I may even give a few accounts away...

Remember that this is BUSINESS class hosting - it doesn't come with script installers or any other fancy add-ons, it is 100% uptime hosting than can instantly cope with just about any load spikes that you can throw at it...

Full pricing will be available shortly.

No not directly although each client can have unlimited domains under their account so in theory they could resell them... They would just have to raise a support ticket to get the domain added to their account rather than being able to add it for themselves via a reseller CP.
