Default Help with Joomla 1.5

Guys

I've downloaded Joomla 1.5x and have it running on my localhost. I have downloaded and installed a component ProjectFork that I want to play around with. Any idea how I relate the component to a module so that it displays on the main page? I can't find anything that explains this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Default Re: Help with Joomla 1.5

Create a menu link to the component by hovering over the Menu link on the top of the Administration control panel. When the drop down appears click on Main Menu or whichever menu you want to put the component link on. On the top right icon bar, click New (it's a green circle with a plus in it) and then click the name of the component (ProjectFork). Give you r menu link a title and an alias and make sure the "Published" button is set to Yes. When you have set everything the way you want it, click the Save button on the top right icon bar.

:-)
