T-shirt printers & business card printers?

Im going to at least one motoring event next month (maybe 2) and Ive been looking for a t-shirt printing company to do me 1 polo shirt with my web address on the front+back, and I also need about 50 business cards printing from someone (or preferably from same company) if possible.

The problem is all the b2b t-shirt printers want a minimum order of 5, the consumer t-shirt printers charge way more than is worth me paying just for 1.

Does anyone run their own t-shirt printing business or can pass me on to someone they know to possibly do a cut price deal so the printer has their company on the shirt as well (im attending events to do with "Greener Driving" so the printer could put something like "XYZ supporting eco friendly companies").

Any help would be much appreciated. Chris.

You can get iron on inkjet transfers, could give that a try.

Thanks monaghan, this was a great idea.

My total spend was exactly £11 and that got me two plain t-shirts (fruit of loom) & 5 A4 transfer sheets. It could have been even cheaper but I wanted dark t-shirts instead of white.

If anyone else is thinking of doing this to market their website then I would definitely recommend going this route rather than a t-shirt printers.

I've just done exactally the same thing for a child minder where the kids get a highly visible tshirt with some cool text on it. It also has a contact number if the child gets lost. Difference is I bought the tshirts from ASDA at 50p each, and the transferes were a £5.

I've used CafePress before and their service is good, and effecient and its not too expensive either.
