How to sell downloads?
I'm wondering if anybody is selling downloads of any kind and how they control it.
I mean like pdf, htm, mp3, jpg type files that they can only get if they pay up first. I'm aware of two services for this, payloadz.com and e-junkies.com Both require you to serve the downloads from their site and charge for storing the files, with incremental rates. Is there a way to make PayPal cart to this, or some program anybody has used on their own site? Thanks Lin

Should be a fairly easy task using PayPal IPN and issue a 1 shot token and validate this token on the download page.

A lot of ecommerce systems have the ability to sell digital products (downloads) checkout zencart and OsCommerce for ones that are FREE and I KNOW do offer downloads...

Why would it not be legal to sell downloads?
Why do you assume that I would be selling something that isn't mine to sell? I edited this because I think I realized the misunderstanding here. I'm not talking about downloading things, then selling them. I'm talking about creating documents and files, then offering them for sale online.
