Default Survey - your website

Something I've been a little curious about - how people get their websites made.

Hm...all three.

Used to mostly build myself, also tweaked a lot of templates to personalise them, and now I'm running short on time, trying to get other people to do it for me.

As a techie, I tend to try and do everything myself as that's what I enjoy. I also try and automate where possible and you just can't get that level of integration and automation with other people's code.

Made it myself. I no point in paying someone else to do the fun bit.

I did my first web-site myself, then I paid someone for a new design using a CMS, just recently done a new website myself on drupal 6.2 (CMS totally unnecessary), but basically took a free template from my ISP & did it a make-over.

Mostly I made them myself, in some cases used CMS like Joomla.

Lately I've been doing sites with integral blogs. I use Nucleus for the blog, adapt a template for the skin, then design the rest of the site to look just like the Nucleus template.
