Hi,
I'm shortly going to be creating a new e-commerce site, which will just be pretty basic. There is no need for fancy features such as displaying the cart contents on the page, logging in or registering, or any of that. But one thing it does need is a "1 page" checkout. Can anyone recomend an e-commerce package or cart solution that has this feature? Thanks, John. |

The trouble is, the options for shopping cart software are pretty limited - and if I may say so, they are still very much lagging behind other publishing platforms such as forums, blogs, etc.

Do you already have the basics of the site setup that i could take a look at?
If you have a single buy now/payment page you could just use a form and you don't need a shopping cart. From what you've told me I think the PayPal buy now buttons feature would probably be best. Whatever you do; don't ask for credit card details on your own site unless you have an SSL certificate. You'd also be best to make sure that the ccard processing is done via PayPal, Protx etc. so that you don't store the details yourself. Without knowing your exact setup/project, it's difficult to give specific advice. |

paypal or googlecart look naff, and I would trust paypal with my money.
I would most liekly use secure trading to actually take the details, so the 'checkout' page just needs to confirm the total price, inc VAT/delivery, allow the user to select various shipping methods (so the total would need to update automatically, and get the customers details (to be passed on to the payment page) |
