Hi Brian
A few times now I have been writing a long post and the login has timed out without me noticing. When I combine this with my often collossal idiocy of pressing submit buttons twice I lose what I have written (and your answer may be, "don't press the button twice you dork " ). Any chance of upping the time-out period (or do I do it manually/use auto-login on a browser -a feature I rarely use as I like to memorise passwords not have a computer do it-)Thanks Mark

I'm afraid it's an auto feature - the forums update about every hour.
I'd recommend if using your own PC that you check the "stay logged in" when visiting - and also press CTRL+A to highlight, then CTRL+C to copy any messages before sending. I do the latter all the time, after too many experiences of writing long detailed posts on forums, only to see them lost for one reason or another!
