Nice question. I think I'll give this Oxford Dictionary a go, actually. Let's see how it fares with grammar ...

I seem to end up copying everything into Word. Getting spell checked and then pasting it back out. Like the Firefox idea. I'll give that a go.

My spelling's not too bad, maybe I'm just not as old as some of you

That being said, I tend to have a Word document or two open at most points throughout the day, and it's just a matter of chucking any doubtful words at the Spellchecker in there to confirm accuracy.
