Someone recently mentioned a program called "Babelfish." This is a translator program that allows you to communicate online with people that speak different languages. I do business with people internationally and only speak English.
Have any of you used this product or some other translation software, how does it work, and how is that working for you? Thanks, Hubert Hubert |

Babelfish is just a text translator that Alta Vista launched years and years ago.

Type an English sentence or paragraph, translate to a language of your choice, then translate back. It's pretty horrific! I speak German and have used Babelfish in moments of boredom to provide me with a good laugh. Nothing beats learning the language

It would take quite a bit of time to learn 5 to 10 new languages. Thanks for all your replies. Hubert |

I was wondering, if someone was going to use babelfish for ongoing training, which do you think would work better, translating and then putting the translation in an email, or sending the email with a link to babelfish and letting the recipient translate the english email to thier language?
thanks, Hubert |
