Hi Guys your knowledge and thoughts appreciated.
Just noticed that G is ranking our .co.uk domain name far higher than the original .com for certain phrases. The .co.uk was bought a few months ago and aliased (I think that's the term) via the hosting control panel to the .com - this means that we now have duplicate content, right? Hosting is on a Windowzs server so I don't think we can do a 301 redirect. |

It's possible that Google is simply using an older record of the .co.uk - but I believe there is a way to set up 301 redirects via IIS:
One suggestion here: http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php Quote:
http://www.highposition.net/301redirect.html Hope that helps.

Are you hosted in the UK, Tracy? I think it's generally advised to host any UK-targeted site in the UK where possible.
