It depends what you need it for and your budget, some software is designed for a mac that is not compatible with a pc. A PC and Mac can do similar things and Macs generally look better than a PC.

I now how my iMac and it's a very lovely machine - it really is a lovely machine, very intelligently designed, stylishly built, and intuitive to use.
