The cat stole my dinner...
I had that beautiful juicy trout on the bunch... and I was about to prepare it to put in the oven when the phone rang. It all happened very quickly... the cat jumped on the bunch... stole the fish... run out of the back door... and was confronted by a duck and a dog. The duck grabbed the other end of the fish. The cat let go of the fish and killed the duck. While he was busy with the duck... the dog grabbed the fish and chocked to death on it. Now the cat is sitting in the kitchen... miaoooing... like he is asking for another fish. He is hungry... and so am I. I guess tomorrow... we will have duck a l'orange. The dog is a bit of a worry... I guess I'll have to bury him. Bugger of a job. It is so dry here without rain... it is going to take me half a day to dig a hole. Meantime... I don't know what to do about the cat. He is so cute and so rebellious. He reminds me of myself when I was younger. He must have my genes... Can you help me with a punishment which fit the crime? |

So sorry you lost your dinner duck and dog all at once. There really is no way to punish a cat for doing a natural thing. The only thing you can tdo is to be sure the cat is out side the next time you have food on the table or keep the food where the cat can't get it. This is kind of a funny story though except that you had to go hungry.
