Default Telephony software

Anyone know of software that lets you connect your telephone to your pc?

So that when a call comes in, the users details held in your database automatically pops up on the screen.

They have this kind of stuff in the US I think, but have'nt seen anything here as yet.

No. It would be connected to normal phone.

It would be something that would let me know who is calling and saves me digging into the database etc. It would recognise the telephone number and dig out the appropriate details.

Have a look at tucows.com - I remember looking into stuff like that a while back, and they had a few related programs. You'll need Caller ID enabled to use them though.

I think all the ones on tucows are for US based telecoms. Thanks anyway.
