Death penalty is the cowards way out for sure, you did the crim now pay the price, anyways Pison cant be all that bad, you get rec rooms and stuff. i geuss it would be bad, but things are always better than they seem. I would definatly rather live...
taking death penelty becuase there is no pain is the worst and most sickening excuse i have heard. life is full of physical and emotional pain. DEAL WITH IT! ![]() Death penelty is more cruel... nothing is worth a human life.. even if they killed 10000 people.. by killing them you are bring yourself to their level... so you should die too, and it would be a vicous circle. |

I think death penalty is worst because you will have no chance of living again unlike with life penalty that you have a chance of going out in prison by parole. So I think it was much better to have a life prison than having a death penalty.

Nobody has the right to give a person a death penalty.. if the crime is that unforgivable.. life imprisonment is the best option... he may be made free after some yrs if he behaves good!

Life in prison is worse than death. First, if you're dead, no boredom to worry about.
Second, you won't be brutally beaten. Third, no rape... =/If I had the choice: Oh how sweet is death... =) |

after reading the last post I don't thik i would be able to choose...I mean, if u got the death penalty as comatose said, no rape, no beatings, no boredom, but if u were still alive, at least u would be alive and have a life to complain about, and be bored about...but being in prison is not a walk in the park, i have heard many stories, and pple I have talked to would rather not be in there ever again.

I'm not against the death penalty, but I would say that life inprisonment is cruel, since the criminal will get the opportunity to reflect on his actions, and the coming days, with nothing to look forward to. While death is the easy way out.

I couldn't emagim spending 50 to 60 years in prison. With the death penality a person knows that the end is near. Yet when face with an end to life we do all we can to prolong it as much as possible. I think that most of those that face the death penality would if given a choice they would chose the life in prison. There is something in our make up that wants to live forever.
