Most of the people have the attitude ‘I want the quality, but I don’t want to pay the price for it, that is the reason that they fall in such prey. Overall they need perfection in a product or service to achieve defect free status but they don't try to understand that all the above inputs have their hidden costs or direct costs which makes the end product apparently expensive.
