I have seen one thing and that is that many people find that desktop is a better on to use rather than laptop...

I use laptop at work/college/other places but strictly desktop at home(During Weekends) .

IMO - Desktop's are more efficient than laptops as i feel.My Efficiency increases 30% as compared to a little lower numbers in laptop.

I have both a Laptop and a PC. I like my PC better, but I usually only use my laptop for school.

I use a desktop and I don't like laptops because of the "touch pad" it irritates my finger and I don't think I would be able to photoshop with it. Desktops are reliable and I would only get a laptop if I really needed it for school or something.

I only have a desktop computer right now, one that I use at home. Though I'm sriously considering buying a laptop, so I can bring it with me while I'm on the road. But then laptops have fairly short battery life, so I'll still need an AC outlet for the laptop to be able to use it longer.
