Re: Website Review
Note form:
- could do with some variation of font sizes to give some structure to all the text.
- at default text sizes, some of the text is too small (I'm on 1280x), like the newsflash text and the website appraisal button. The print buttons too (just noticed those).
- the style is going to look dated pretty quickly. That whole glossy thing has been done to death. You'd be better off doing something unique - and memorable, don't just go with a current trend.
- Kerning on your logo is off, especially around the O. It reads T O TAL.
- next to your logo, you have an image of some guy in a suit. It doesn't really add anything. If anything, it takes attention away from your logo (and by extension, your brand)
- to the left side of that guy, there's a slight colour change. The left part, under the corner, is light blue, then it goes darker behind the standing bloke.
- where you have section headers in coloured boxes (eg, "simple web presence"), the spacing is pretty high around the text.
- There's a lot of copy. I totally understand the temptation to put a bit of everything on the index, but I think you'd be better off taking some of it away to different pages. Like, everything about website development on one page, hosting on another etc.
