Anyone else had notification of a price increase from Layered Technology? I've had a server with them for years and it's going up by about 30% from July
Fortunately I'd already started on a technology refresh and have a new server on-line and ready to roll in the UK for these accounts.
A month may be a long time in Internet time, however it's not a lot of notice if you have to order, build & test a new server AND explain the transfer process to customers who registered their names elsewhere (so much easier for the host when you also control the domain as well
)
I know you can often order a server and have it on-line same day, however, I'd rather take time & test and ensure the setup is OK.
