One thing I run into on the web more than anywhere else is violation of a basic marketing principle: "A feature is not necessarily a benefit"
You see all these clever flash intos and snazzy design that do nothing for the viewer, just show of the designer.
The question here would be: what does a video show about a car that benefits the trouble in putting it up? Even a great video? Shows how fast the car accelerates or something?
All that's needed is pictures.
And as bumfluff points out, a bad video is worse than a bad photo.
