AOL have announced that the Netscape social media portal will be going soon, probably to a new domain:

AOL have also reset up a Netscape mainstream news section on netscape.aol.com - however, there is no official confirmation of where the social media content will go.
Some people have suggested wow.com, but the question I'd really like to know is what is the actual Netscape.com domain going to be used for? Will it have new content, or simply be redirected to the netscape subdomain on AOL?
Additionally, it all seems to be part of a restructuring by AOL, who have additionally announced that they are likely to get rid of anywhere between 20-25% of their workforce:
